we arrive Brignon-Plages
The weather forecast did announce it: There will be rain today. When we leave Roscoff, we see that all villages on the way are parked with cars. Until it occurs to us that it is All Saints' Day today. And since the Bretons are quite religious, they're at the churches now.

first we are having a pot of tea
Beyond Brignon-Plages we bend off to the signposted lighthouse. We are surprised to find such a beautiful car park, with a view of the lighthouse and the sea. We hardly arrived when the rain pours down hard. So Annette puts the kettle on to make a pot of tea.

then we climb the boulders

the sea is rough waters today
The flood tide comes back again, and so do the people for their Sunday walk. Many of them wear wellington boots. We, too, dress warm for a walk on the beach. The wind is so strong; Annette's ear really hurt.
