the view out of our window

Since last night just rain, rain. For ages we had not used our generator, but now Herbert starts it for the on-board batteries to have enough capacity. The past evenings, we mostly did without the TV, though, but perhaps we want to watch TV on this rainy day. The thing then is that we run out of fuel for the generator. So that Annette agrees to go to the gas station with the canister in the afternoon.

Annette comes back from the gas station

For days, this old man is parked next to us all day to either look at the sea or look into our window. He probably doesn't know quite what to begin in winter? Well, anyway, he sees Annette walking to town. He then starts his Vespa car overtakes and calls her across the street whether he should not give her a lift? What Annette then accepts.  Canister and umbrella land on the truck bed and then oh, how narrow it is inside the driver's cabin. Once the door is closed, the drivers moves even closer to Annette. And then he talks continuously, the whole drive long. He must really enjoy himself next to bella ragazza. In the curves you would expect the car to tip over and when a young woman crosses the street right before our eyes, the driver does not slow down one bit. The gas station attendant then fills the canister. Per quindici Euro, per favore, says Annette. So for 15 Euros. Back home we drive and then Annette asks the driver to have this photo taken. Well, at least the rain stops early evening, now it's just quite windy.

in the evening, the rain is over at least
