the view from the camper stop to Breisach
The rain came to a stop overnight, what a joy. So we can go for a walk to town at noon. We see that as of today, parking fees are required. Because when we came here on Wednesday, the parking meter was covered with a plastic bag and still packed for winter. Seems that the season begins today.

there are lots of inns and restaurants in town
Breisach is very pretty but if only we wore more summerly clothes today. What a heat. We climb the stairs to the upper part of town from where we have a marvelous view of the Rhein and Breisach. Up here, there is an open-air theater where we walk across.

everything is lovely and well-kept
At the end, we stop at one of the many cafés in town. For tomorrow, an early summer day with temperatures of up to 27°C (80°F) has been announced. But who knows whether it would rain again and everything turns out to be nothing but an April Fool's joke? Otherwise, we would love to hike along the banks of the Rhein tomorrow. We want to spend all weekend here, the next appointment we have is on 7 April.
