view of the Hahnplatz square of Prüm
We want to ride on today. Our destination now is Prüm. By 10:00h we are ready to move on. Well, Prüm is just a 50 kilometer distance away but then there is one deviation after another. We feel as though we drive twice as many kilometers. Without exaggeration we have to manage four or five deviations.

But eventually we do arrive Prüm and park on the Aldi car park. Today on holiday we can park anywhere we like. It is rather chilly outside but we go for a walk nonetheless.

Prüm, a town of 6.000 inhabitants, is near the German-Belgian as well as the German-Luxemburg border. And this we really can tell. We feel just like in Belgium somewhere. Not at all like in Germany anymore. All in all, we do enjoy the Eifel region, good hiking trails invite guests at any season of the year.

spring is in full bloom now
Then, early evening, the rain sets in. Thus we just stay on the Aldi car park while the rain drums on the roof. On TV there is a report of the Baltic Sea and its German islands and peninsulas. We go to bed at midnight.

today's route ca. 53km
